Walking for St Alban's Brickwork Appeal
On Saturday 13 September, members of St Alban’s Church will be taking part in a 10-mile sponsored pilgrimage walk from St Alban’s to Chislehurst, in preparation for the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, which we celebrate the following day.
As we walk together in faith and fellowship, we will also be raising funds for our Brickwork Appeal, helping to preserve and care for our church building for future generations.
Our destination is the resting place of Fr Charles Lowder, founder of the Society of the Holy Cross (SSC), making this not only a sponsored walk but also a pilgrimage with a rich spiritual heritage.
